Easy Baby Back Ribs

Here’s my super-juicy, super-easy Baby Back Ribs recipe with a cajun rib rub that will knock your socks off! Yeah that’s right I’ll go toe to toe with anyones Baby Back Ribs recipe and come out winning every time! Oh, hell yah, I’m bragging “fo sho”! Trust.. you want this recipe!

Here’s the good part, I don’t cook mine on the grill, nope, I cook these Baby Backs in the oven and they come out to perfection every single time I make them. I buy my Baby Back Ribs from Trader Joe’s or Costco then I season them with pure sea salt and my cajun rib rub, wrap them tight in foil and into the oven at 300 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hours depending on your oven.

That’s it… and they come out meat falling off the bones and melting in your mouth. I can never cook enough of these beauties because everyone comes back for more and most importantly there isn’t any mess on the grill to clean up. I love eating my ribs with grilled corn on the cob or a great salad and speaking of paring don’t forget to serve your ribs with a great Pinot Noir. Ingredients

  • 2 Racks of Baby Back Ribs
  • Essence Seasoning:
  • 2 1/2 TBS Paprika

  • 2 TBS Salt

  • 2 TBS Garlic Powder

  • 1 TBS Black Pepper

  • 1 TBS Cayenne Powder

  • 1 TBS Onion Powder

  • 1 TBS Dried Leaf Oregano

  • 1 TBS Dried Thyme

Directions for Essence Seasoning

  • Combine all ingredients thoroughly and store in airtight jar or container.
  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with a piece of aluminum foil large enough to cover the pan twice (you will be folding this over the ribs and sealing).
  • Place the ribs on the prepared baking sheet in 1 layer. In a small bowl, combine the Essence Rub and stir to combine.
  • Coast the seasoning among on both sides of ribs, coating well on both sides. Fold the sides of the foil over the ribs and seal tightly on all sides.
  • Place the ribs in the oven and bake, undisturbed, for 2 ½ to 3 hours, or until ribs are very tender.
  • Remove the ribs from the oven and peel back the foil so that the ribs are exposed.
