My Snowman Soup recipe is fantastic for those cold winter nights and makes a wonderful Christmas gift as well! Making this delicious gift is as easy as one, two, three! Wrap up hot chocolate mix, marshmallows, and chocolates, and we add a sweet little poem to wrap it all up! You can give it as a gift in a coffee mug, in a gift basket, or hang it on the tree with a candy cane as a hook and best of all, it’s easy enough for children to make.

1 package hot chocolate mix
10 mini marshmallows
1 square chopped milk chocolate for sprinkling
1 peppermint candy cane or cinnamon stick optional
Whipped cream to serve
If you are making this for yourself, you will need to dissolve the hot chocolate mix in boiling water. Add the marshmallows and whipped cream. Sprinkle the chocolate on top and add the peppermint candy cane or cinnamon stick. If you are making this as a gift for someone else, put the hot chocolate mix, marshmallows and chopped chocolate square in a plastic bag or cellophane package. Put this package inside a mug. Tape the candy cane or cinnamon stick to the outside and add a Snowman Soup poem.
