Shrimp Poutine is a win, win recipe no matter what… Unless you’re on a diet, which means..  you’re in trouble. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I stumbled onto this recipe one evening trying to figure out what to do with fresh fries and shrimp and it just all came together. Once I served my family, my husband who is a Canadian said this is Shrimp Poutine! Hmm, what’s Shrimp Poutine? All I know it’s delicious and satisfying! Crispy seasoned french fries are topped with old bay seasoned shrimp, creamy parmesan basil sauce, melted cheese and diced green onions and served in individual dishes.

So, what is poutine? Poutine is a French-Canadian classic dish of French fries topped with cheese curds and gravy. Life is complete!

I made my recipe a one-sheet pan version. I put the french fries and the shrimp on a sheet pan, seasoned everything and threw them in the oven for 20 minutes.  The sauce is quick to throw together while the shrimp and french fries cooked in the oven.Once everything is cooked then it’s time to assemble. French fries and shrimp topped with the cheese sauce and garnished with chopped scallions. So remember if you drink to much…you can make this delicious Shrimp Poutine to assist in your recovery! Here’s to great comfort food!
