Semi-Homemade Spaghetti…

Quick and easy Semi-Homemade Spaghetti…you know the story, any hard working person comes home from a long day, opens the refrigerator, and bam nothing to eat! Yes, I too suffer this dreadful moment when you are too tired to be creative in the kitchen and have used up all your local takeout spots. But you won’t be stuck in that rutt for long…here is a quick and easy solution for this problem. It is my Semi-Homemade Spaghetti recipe that anyone can make.  Who doesn’t love spaghetti? I know, I know the carbs, but dang every now and then you gotta say “oh screw the whole no carbs thing”… and hello Semi-Homemade Spaghetti!

Semi-Homemade Spaghetti…

  1. 1 1/2 lbs organic ground beef or turkey

  2. 2 28 ounce cans tomato sauce

  3. 2 cans tomatoes chopped

  4. 10 white button mushrooms thinly sliced (optional)

  5. 2 tablespoons basil chopped

  6. 1 1/2 tablespoons oregano chopped

  7. 2 tablespoons minced dried onion

  8. 1 tablespoon salt

  9. 1 tablespoon garlic powder

  10. 1 tablespoon black pepper

  11. 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

  12. 1/2 teaspoon red-pepper flakes

  1. Brown Beef in an extra large sauce pan. When cooked throughly (do not drain unless there is excessive oil, other than that you need the beef oil for flavor) add sliced mushrooms, add in 2 cans of chopped tomatoes and 2 cans of tomatoes sauce. Add all the spices and parmesan cheese. Bring to just a slight boil, lower heat and cover. Simmer for just 5 more minutes. Serve over your favorite pasta with red-pepper flakes at your taste!
