I love a thinly cut…Seared Sirloin Steak with Lentils! It’s an easy delicious paleo style meal which looks amazing! I also love platter meals especially when I have a bunch of friends over for dinner, which is almost everyday at our house. I throw everything on the platter and pass it around the dinner table. Looks good and taste great!
But…here’s my lazy girl version of Seared Sirloin Steak with Lentils. I bought pre-marinaded steak from Trader Joe’s, so all I had to do was grill the meat and then slice it up very thinly.
I bought the lentils from TJ’s, added a little spinach, red onions, seasoning blend and topped it with jalapeños. This dinner is extremely budget-friendly with lentils. Lentil’s taste great and make the meal very filling. Shh…I’ve been on a lentil kick, lately!
I love easy protein power meals, what about you?
Hope you’re enjoying your lazy summer!

Seared Sirloin Steak with Lentils…
1 lb. TJ’s Herb & Garlic Seasoned Sirloin Steak with Chimichurri Sauce
1 bag TJ’s Spinach
1 bag TJ’s Lentils
1 Red Onion (thinly sliced)
1 Jalapeños (thinly sliced)
1 taco seasoning pacakage
Bring a small pot of water to boil. Place chimichurri sauce packet in boiling water for 10-15 seconds. Set packet aside. Grill steak on medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Let steak rest for 2 minutes before slicing. Add lentils to saucepan and spinach then taco seasoning package, slice the red onions into thin strips. Slice jalapeños and set aside. The pesto will form a light dressing over the kale. Add bell pepper and feta and mix again, then top with sliced steak. Drizzle with desired amount of chimichurri sauce. Enjoy!
