I have always had the idea that Ali in the Valley would be a place for women of all nationalities, ages, and classes. A community where everyone woman could find something to relate to, could find a place to fit in. I’ve also always wanted Ali in the Valley to be a place where women could hear different voices, and different perspectives.
After years of food and lifestyle blogging on my own, I am so happy to introduce two women who will be additional voices here at Ali in the Valley!!

I have been the social media manager here at Ali in the Valley for a year now and am so happy to take an even more active role as a blog writer!
I grew up in Palmdale, CA just outside of Los Angeles and went to school at Adams State University in Colorado to attain my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. I have worked with several companies in social media marketing, started my own blog, and eventually have gone on to create my own social media marketing consulting company with several clients called Kalin J Consulting.
I am so excited to start this new chapter of blogging with Ali in the Valley!
Nicole Chang (Instagram: @nicolemchang)
Born and raised in Los Angeles, I’ve spent several years working in the fashion industry and my most current role is Project Specialist at TOMS, where I’m able to use both my business background and give back to the community. After 2 years of working in the corporate finance world in NYC, I left the job that was draining my soul and creativity to come back home and pursue the job I wanted in fashion. Since then, I’ve worked with Nike, Quiksilver, and Trina Turk, among other brands that embody the spirit of California chic.
I’m very excited to be blogging with Ali in the Valley and sharing my thoughts on my favorite topic, fashion!
I can’t wait to start this new journey with my Ali in the Valley community! Please make sure to comment if you have certain topics you would like my girls or I to cover, we’ll shout you out in our posts!
