Aside from the meaning behind Independence Day, the fact that the ways we choose to celebrate are great representations of the day itself. Spending time with family, turning the day into a celebration, and creating unity amongst everyone, the Fourth of July is a great example of how we embrace our freedom.

4 cups or 1 bottle 750 mL is close enough to 4 cups... favorite white wine, suggest Pinot Grigio
2 cups flavored soda water I used raspberry/blackberry
1 ounce Triple Sec
½ ounce simple syrup 1:1 sugar to water, heated and then cooled, optional for sweeter sangria
1 cup strawberries frozen
1 cup blueberries
Combine all ingredients in carafe/pitcher.
You can leave fruit out until serving, if desired. Strawberries may cloud sangria if left overnight.
Chill and serve very cold over ice.
