Easy and Fresh Braised Green Beans
1 pound of trimmed green beans
1- cup chicken stock or broth
5 peeled garlic
2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
Extra-virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
In a large skillet, bring 1-cup chicken stock and 5 peeled cloves garlic to a simmer over medium-high. Add 1 pound trimmed green beans and fresh thyme leaves. Cover and cook until tender, about 8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil, and serve with lemon slices.
