Do I dye my gray hair or not?

So, I’m here…Do I dye my gray or not? That’s the quetion on the week! It’s crazy because I feel so blessed to be in my mid 50’s feeling healthy, in shape and excited about the next chapter in my life but each day the gray hair keeps coming in more and more.

But to be honest, the gray really doesn’t bother me except that it’s the tell-tell sign that I’m not young anymore. I’m actually very lucky because my hair didn’t start going gray until a few years back and I would put a little dye on my part every now and then but now it seems like every time I add dye the gray grows in more. What the uck?

In truth, I think why it bothers me is that going gray is synonymous with looking old, and our culture prizes and promotes us doing exactly the opposite. Looking forever young is the slogan. Hey, I got carded for buying wine up till last year but since my gray is prominent I haven’t been getting the “can I see some id”! Lol!

So here I am, do I let the grey just grow in gracefully, or do I add a little dye to help me look more youthful. Is it time to be completely comfortable with my age and all that comes with it? 🤨
