I can feel summer approaching and I’m loving it! It’s time to really enjoy our fabulous weather and all the yummy food that’s in season during spring and summer. It’s also time to really dial it in on the workouts and healthy eating!
Yikes! I’m not dieting, I’m changing my lifestyle!
My change will be eating tasty, healthy food and one hour a day / 5 days a week workouts. Actually, I have always worked out, but now I’m really paying attention to what and when I put food in my body.
Avocados are in abundance this time of year and are really good for us. I love avocados and I’m always looking for new ways to use them! Crab Salad in Avocado Halves yum!

Crab Salad in Avocado Halves Recipe:
1/2 cup lump crab meat 1/2 tbsp light mayonnaise 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped 2 tsp red onion, diced finely 1-2 tsp jalapeño, diced finely 1 tsp lime zest Juice from 1/2 a lime Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste Dash of cumin 1 avocado, cut in half, pit removed
Combine the lump crab meat, mayonnaise, cilantro, red onion, jalapeño, lime zest, lime juice, sea salt, freshly cracked pepper, and cumin together. Spoon the crab mixture into each avocado half and serve immediately.
