I love this Crab Salad in Avocado Halves! Yum, Yum, I haven’t made this recipe in a very long time and I really missed it. It’s hot, the weather is fabulous and I love all the yummy food that’s in season during summer. I also don’t feel like cooking in a hot kitchen. On top of the fact that I’m really dialing in on the workouts and healthy eating! This tasty Crab Salad is the perfect fit for all the above.
Avocados are in abundance this time of year and are really good for us. I love avocados and I’m always looking for new ways to use them!

Be open to new flavors! I love the flavor and texture of fresh crabmeat. Lightly seasoned and served in avocado halves, you don’t need much more to give this dish the fancy flare of a top notch recipe.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup lump crab meat
- 1/2 tablespoon light mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro (chopped)
- 2 teaspoon red onion (diced finely)
- 1-2 teaspoon jalapeño (diced finely)
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- Juice from 1/2 a lime
- Dash of cumin
- 1 avocado (cut in half, pit removed)
- Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper (to taste)
Directions
- Combine the lump crab meat, mayonnaise, cilantro, red onion, jalapeño, lime zest, lime
- juice, sea salt, freshly cracked pepper, and cumin together. Spoon the crab mixture into each avocado half and serve immediately.
