I love this simple, flavorful Cilantro-Lime Swordfish recipe. Swordfish is really a beautiful piece of meat. It is both mild and meaty. This nice fish steak is satisfying and healthy all at the same time. My swordfish came from our local Ralph’s, it was wild-caught and not previously frozen. Perfect!
I used a lime-cilantro based marinade with a bit of heat to it to give the mild fish some spice. I usually grill my swordfish steak but this time I just threw it into a skillet with olive oil and cover it, to trap the heat and keep it moist. Five minutes into cooking the fish I flipped it over to cook it on the other side then added a bunch of spinach leaves for our vegetable, oh and squirted a little more lime juice on the spinach as well. The whole family enjoyed the fish steak! It’s not everyday that we get wild-caught never been frozen swordfish steaks, what a treat. It was delicious!
