Here’s my super-juicy, super-easy Baby Back Ribs recipe with a cajun rib rub that will knock your socks off! Yeah that’s right I’ll go toe to toe with anyones Baby Back Ribs recipe and come out winning every time! Oh, hell yah, I’m bragging “fo sho”! Trust.. you want this recipe!

Here’s the good part, I don’t cook mine on the grill, nope, I cook these Baby Backs in the oven and they come out to perfection every single time I make them. I buy my Baby Back Ribs from Trader Joe’s or Costco then I season them with pure sea salt and my cajun rib rub, wrap them tight in foil and into the oven at 300 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hours depending on your oven.

That’s it… and they come out meat falling off the bones and melting in your mouth. I can never cook enough of these beauties because everyone comes back for more and most importantly there isn’t any mess on the grill to clean up. I love eating my ribs with grilled corn on the cob or a great salad and speaking of paring don’t forget to serve your ribs with a great Pinot Noir. My new favorite is Moon X which I buy at Trader Joe’s. I love this Pinot Noir it’s velvety smooth, inexpensive and only $7.99 a bottle. It’s the perfect wine to serve with my super-juicy, super-easy to make Baby Back Ribs… If your cooking this weekend for Memorial Day than trust me and try my version of the best Baby Back Ribs recipe ever!

Get your rest on in celebration of Memorial Day …God knows I’ve been working my little tail off!

Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs

  • 6 tablespoons Cajun Rib Rub (recipe follows)

  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt

  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • Sweet Baby Rays Hickory & Brown Sugar Barbecue Sauce (optional)

  • 2 ½ tablespoons paprika

  • 2 tablespoons salt

  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper

  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano

  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with a piece of aluminum foil large enough to cover the pan twice (you will be folding this over the ribs and sealing).
  • Place the ribs on the prepared baking sheet in 1 layer. In a small bowl, combine the Cajun Rib Rub, salt pepper, and stir to combine.
  • Divide the seasoning among both slabs of ribs, coating well on both sides. Fold the sides of the foil over the ribs and seal tightly on all sides.
  • Place the ribs in the oven and bake, undisturbed, for 2 ½ to 3 hours, or until ribs are very tender.
  • Remove the ribs from the oven and peel back the foil so that the ribs are exposed. Using a pastry brush or the back of a spoon, coat the racks lightly on the meaty sides with barbecue sauce.
  • Return to the oven until sauce is thickened and lightly browned, about 20 minutes longer.
  • Remove the ribs from the oven and set aside to cool briefly before cutting between the ribs and serving. Serve with more barbecue sauce, if desired.
